Muslim Stars has been running for over three years now, alhamdulillah, providing a safe, nurturing space where children with SEND can learn about Islam in a way that meets their needs and how they learn best.

Our sessions are thoughtfully designed and include:

* Qur’an through sign language

* Stories of the Prophets

* Learning Wudhu, Salah, charity and Hajj

* And many more interactive, sensory-friendly themes

Muslim Stars is run entirely by dedicated volunteers. We do not charge any of the families who attend our sessions. Instead, we rely solely on our annual fundraiser to keep this vital work going.

Your donations help cover:

* Masjid rent

* Weekly learning resources

* Eid parties and gifts for the children

* Our annual Iftar

We also have a dedicated space for children with SEND to pray Taraweeh in the Masjid with their parent.

Many of these children are unable to access mainstream madrassa classes or Masjid because their needs are not adequately supported. Alhamdulillah, through Muslim Stars, our children have developed a true love for the masjid and are learning about our beautiful Deen in the House of Allah.

Our beloved Prophet ﷺ taught us compassion and inclusion. In Islam, children with disabilities are children of Jannah, and they deserve full access to the masjid and Islamic education.

Our sessions take place at Neeli Masjid every Jummah during term time.
