Running to Renew Our Sensory Room

At our early intervention autism preschool, the sensory rooms are truly the heart of our space. They’re calming, comforting places where children can go when the world feels a little too much—offering support, regulation, and a sense of safety. The kids love them, and so do we.

Right now, our sensory rooms need some care. The upholstery is damaged from wear and tear, the lighting is faulty, and some sensory features are no longer working. We want to make the space as supportive and inviting as possible—not just for the children we’re working with today, but for many more in the future.

To help us get there, 10 of our brilliant and brave staff members are taking on the Women’s Mini Marathon—running to raise funds for the updates the room needs. We’re incredibly proud of them for going the extra mile (literally!) for our kids.

We’ve already raised over €300 from a bake sale, and we’re so grateful for the support so far. This fundraiser is the next step, and we’d love your help.
