Team Innovo visited Avenue End Primary School with the intention of sponsoring the school’s football team. However, during the visit, our attention was quickly drawn to a much greater cause — the school’s sensory room.
Anyone who knows Scott and Cheryl will understand just how personal this is for them. This cause truly hits home. As a result, Innovo will be running a series of fundraising campaigns throughout the year to help support the development of a new sensory room within the school. Please keep an eye out for upcoming updates and events. Keep your eyes peeled on our social media platform to see what we have planned and for our progess.
Innovo will be raising funds to support the school as the current sensory room is too small and there is limited funding available for the equipment required. A larger room has now been allocated, but it needs significant work including decoration, replacement or wrapping of kitchen units, new flooring, and specialist sensory equipment.
This project will directly benefit all current pupils with Additional Support Needs (ASN).
The cause is especially close to home, as Scott and Cheryl’s two daughters have Autism making this initiative both meaningful and impactful for everyone involved.
We’d also welcome support from any local companies, trades, or suppliers who feel they may be able to assist with the work involved. This support doesn’t need to be a monetary donation — help with decorating, flooring, kitchen unit wrapping or refurbishment, materials, or sensory equipment would be hugely appreciated and would make a real difference.
Any contribution, big or small, will help us create a safe, calming, and inclusive space that will benefit all pupils with Additional Support Needs.
We appreciate everyones continued support. We are all greatfull for everyones who shows up for us
