SOS: our Website is broken and we need help to fix it!
Senses of Cinema is a totally free, world-class film journal from Melbourne, with hundreds of thousands of readers per issue. We’re almost entirely volunteer-run, and have been going for 20 years, publishing quarterly issues of our journal non-stop since 1999! In addition, since 2014, we’ve published our celebrated World Poll featuring contributions from all over the world, by anyone who wants to join in.
That means our website needs to hold a lot of past content - over 4500 articles! - and is growing every year, putting it under increasing strain. It now urgently needs an upgrade. This will require much hard work and many hours of assistance in order to completely rebuild the site. It won't be possible without the support of our wonderful readers!
Help us continue to support an environment of intelligent, thoughtful, critical writing on film, screen and culture and consider donating what you can.
All donations big or small are deeply appreciated by our hard-working team.
