18 year old Latae’o Garrett lost his life unexpectedly on Saturday evening to an senseless act of violence over an attempted armed robbery over a pair of Cartier sunglasses; That the robber did not even take. Latae’o worked hard at UPS to save up to purchase a pair of Cartier sunglasses. Our family is at a complete lost. Latae’o was an amazing son, brother, cousin, friend to many. He had recently graduated high school and was on his way to college. He was very humble and went to work and came home.  He enjoyed basketball, and he led his team to their 1st state championship and won.
