Senior Thesis Film - Where No One Lives

Where No One Lives is a story about four lonely next-door neighbors who find themselves in search of connection, forgiveness, and company in an old apartment building on one night.

 

 

 

This film observes how every stranger has a life as vivid and complex as our own, all knee-deep in the same struggles, isolation, and feelings of dissatisfaction, and the mysteries behind our neighbors whose names we don’t know.

 

The Set

 

 

The film takes place entirely on a built set. The location functions as a space showing the interconnectedness and crampedness of an old apartment building. Its layout allows the audience into the lives of the film’s characters, almost as if taking a peek into the un-magnificient lives of your next-door neighbors. We move side-by-side between rooms, and hear sounds as they seep through the walls, which each character is affected by.

First and foremost we’d love for you to donate. Every dollar truly counts and will allow us to take the next step. All financial contributions will go towards production costs, plus you will get some fun rewards out of it. The money will go towards cast and crew wages, transportation, food, lighting, production design, and post-production needs.

Production will take place in March 2022. Once we have a completed film, we’d love to bring it to the 2022 film festival circuit and showcase the finish product to everyone.
