Hi Everyone :)

My name is Susan Hong and I am the founder of Stone Oak Piano Studio located in San Antonio, Texas. I have been a piano teacher for over 35 years and I am excited to announce our first Senior Scholarship Award!

I started teaching piano at an early age of 16 but knew then and now that teaching piano was my passion. Whenever my students graduate high school, it becomes a bittersweet moment since I know that many will pursue new opportunities in their lives – some will continue with music and many will pursue skills outside of music. Regardless of their long-term goals, I want to set them up with the skills of financial literacy and that is why our Senior Scholarship Award will be $500 per student placed into a retirement account of their choosing.

Andrea, Alanna, Jin, Kennedy and Sophie all have grown so much since they joined our studio. They are all smart, loving and full of life.... I hope to give them a little kindle that can grow over time. Not only for the love of piano but for financial freedom as well.
