Hi, meet Billy Sutton.

He is a legendary bass player from Peoria, IL. Billy has played all around the U.S. since his early days at Peoria High School. Billy has been an avid supporter of the live music scene in Central Illinois for many years, advocating membership with the American Federation of Musicians, Musician for Big Oldies 93 band that backed several stars at Peoria Civic Center. In addition, Billy has spent time mentoring many musicians in the area and has been a great volunteer mentor for students at his alma mater, Peoria High.

For the past few years, Billy has fallen on hard times. As the economy has fizzled, so have many gigs he used to play. In addition, his home had significant roof damage, affecting the rest of the house, including walls, foundation, carpeting and flooring, and electrical. We are asking folks to step forward and help a friend in need who has been there throughout his life for others. Thank you for being so supportive.
