Seneka's Liver Transplant Expenses

Hi everybody, I'm writing this fundraiser for my sister Seneka Gastrock. In December of 2022 she was shockingly diagnosed with HCC - Hepatocellular Carcinoma... otherwise known as Primary Liver Cancer. You can imagine our shock as it's incredibley rare for a  39 year old healthy female to develop Primary Liver Cancer with no other underlying medical conditions. After months of prayer and just about every test and scan you can imagine, it was deemed that there was no cancer anywhere else in her body making her eligible for a liver transplant. Transplant is considered the cure for this type of cancer.  Luckily, my cousin Ivy is a match and has so graciously come forward to save my sister's life with the gift of her liver. Ivy can give Seneka 60% of her liver which will then regenerate.  Sen has continued to work through treatment and be an awesome mom to her two children and wife to her husband, Ryan. Unfortunately when she goes for the transplant, she could spend up to 40 days in New York City according to her surgeon. She will be in Intensive Care at Mt. Sinai for about two weeks, but then will need to stay in the city for multiple appointments until she gets cleared to be able to withstand the ride back and forth between home and the city.  The prices in the city are very high and with them not being able to work while she is recovering will create a large financial hardship. A gift of any amount would be so helpful and our family will be forever grateful. We just want our girl back and healthy. Our daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend that we love so much.
