On Saturday, April 29th 2017, Seneca, MO experienced flooding like never seen before. In its wake was the Sports Complex where the youth play baseball, softball and t-ball. Hundreds of feet of fence is down on all 5 fields and 2 pitching machines were submerged under water. At the highest point, the concession stand had 2.5-3 ft of water standing in it affecting 2 refrigerators, ice machine, fountain machine, cabinets etc. Each spring the volunteer board members and local residents spend countless hours mowing, doing field work and other upkeep so the kids can enjoy the season. We need help saving our season.
