My name is Kelsey and I'm fundraising for my best friend Renee and her kid, Sky. Sky has been accepted to Northwest Academy for high school after a rough couple of years of being bullied at a PPS middle school but landing at NWA for 8th grade. NWA has changed Sky's life allowing him to be accepted in his identity, and given the academic supported needed to be successful. Renee is a disabled single mom and while Northwest Academy gave a very generous scholarship, she cannot afford the rest while living on SSDI and unable to work.
