As we all know, children should never suffer. But the very harsh reality is, they do. As a parent you never want your child to be one of the unfortunate children who fall victim to a severe illness. This is the tragic reality for the Gregory family.
Reid Gregory (5) was diagnosed with Steven Johnson's Syndrome on August 8, 2016 and has been hospitalized since. He is a very sick little boy and will most likely be in the hospital for another week on top of weeks of recuperation and healing. This syndrome has forced this loving, energetic boy into a hospital bed 24 hours a day. Although he will be ok, he has a very long road to recovery.
Steven Johnson's Syndrome is a condition your whole body goes through from a reaction to any common household medication (i.e. Tylenol) where your epidermis (top part of your skin) and dermis (lower level) separate and causes blisters, sores, and it is very hard to eat or drink.
Reid's parents, Jeff & Jessica have promised him they are going to Disney World once he gets better. All the funds raised here will help send Reid to Disney World to put all his pain and suffering behind him. With the extensive medical bills the family is now facing, any extra funds to help send them to the “Happiest Place on Earth”, will help.
