I'm heading to SE ASIA this summer!

Hi friends!
During this past year at the Global Institute for Youth Leadership, the Lord has given me amazing opportunity after amazing opportunity to minsiter to students in Dalton, Ga, to minister to the people of Ellijay and Chatsworth and the opportunity to minister to hundreds of kids this summer for 10 weeks on Fort Mountain. Not only has the Lord taught me to become more and more like him everyday, but he has been teaching me what is it like to be part of a ministry. As I approach my second year at the institute as a senior intern, the Lord has given me the honor and the privilage to serve in SE ASIA this coming summer for 8 weeks. I would not travel across the world to minister to a foreign nation if it was not for the Lord calling me to missions 3 years ago. I would have not be able to minsiter to the hundreds of campers and tons of girls this summer if it was not for your prayers and your support. I remember encountering a girl this summer, she was a high school student and a girl who had been through a lot in her life. Her story was similar to mine. One day after the girls' track time, where we discussed our worth in Christ, she came up to me and shared her story. I have never in my life been so confident that is where the Lord had wanted me in that moment with this young girl. If it wasn't for the Lord's call on my life for missions and the Lord's call on my life to be at global, I never would have met this girl and I never been have been able to look her in the eyes and tell her that I had been in the seat she is in, but that there is something greater and his name is Jesus and we can find our greatest hope in Him.
This is my heart's deepest desire and this is something the Lord has asked me to bravely and boldly pursue, a call to travel the world and proclaim His name. I will have the opportunity to teach english, to participate in a VBS camp and to share the love of Christ with a country who does not know his name. My prayer and my hope for this trip is not that these people see Jesus regardless if he chooses to use me or not this summer. Will you please join me in praying for this trip as my team and I prepare for what is to come in SE Asia and for me to reach my goal before the month of May!?
