I’m Jake McCombie and I’m in my junior year at University of Illinois looking to invest in my spiritual development this summer. I am a member of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at my college, where I have grown tremendously in my Christian faith.
My leaders have asked me to attend a month long program, InterVarsity Leadership Institute (IVLI), this summer. This life changing month will train me to be a leader on campus, in the church, and the world for the rest of my life.
I feel led by God to attend and I am asking you to consider giving to help make this possible. The cost of IVLI is $1399, but the opportunity for spiritual growth is invaluable! I am hoping to raise a total of $2700, which will pay for IVLI and make up what I could earn in July at $8/hour. Without help, I can’t afford the cost of IVLI while losing a month’s wage.
