We are the Send It Foundation. Our mission is to inspire positivity, courage and gratitude in young adult cancer fighters through the gift of outdoor adventure and community.

We have a rare opportunity to create a video media-platform that will share the stories of our Send It fighters, capturing the realities of cancer as a young adult, and the empowering and transformative experience of a Send It adventure.

A team of established filmmakers wants to help us tell this story and share the Send It mission. This team has generously offered their time, creative direction, and talents, but we need a little extra help with travel and lodging, as we believe partnership is the best way forward.

This video will become a critical platform for the Send It Foundation to grow. A visual storytelling piece gives a voice to cancer fighters and showcases the healing benefits of a Send It experience. With that, it will help in fundraising efforts, connecting with hospitals and treatment centers, attracting participants, and building strategic partnerships for long-term growth. 

Your contribution will go directly towards airfare for the film team to come on two Send It trips - Winter Ski (March 11-14) and Bolinas Surf (May 13 - 16), to capture the experience and the voices and stories of our fighters. All additional costs of this project have been kindly donated by the crew (a creative team, film crew, post-production editing).

We are conducting this separate fundraising campaign, so that the donations from our community go towards Send It programs, directly impacting young cancer fighters. Any leftover funds from this project will go back to the foundation.

We hope to bring attention to the experiences of young adults impacted by cancer, the power and healing of outdoor adventure, and to the inspiring message of Send It.
