Christ for all Nations Bootcamp

A few months ago as I sat in my kitchen with my kids, I had a revelation. We had just been doing some chores and it all seemed to be drudgery. There was lack of focus and motivation, and my kids were clearly not excited. As I grasped for words to encourage forward movement, it hit me. We were working religiously! And God does not want us to work religiously! His will is not for us to just do do do and work work work because he said said said! He is a loving Father who sees the needs of His children and does what is good for them! He knows what needs to be done. He delivers His will to us not so we can work religiously, but so we can be with him in what he has planned! As a child we can do a few things when we hear the will of the father. We can refuse his will, we can religiously do what is required because we feel we have to, or we can know the love of our father and find pleasure in carrying out the plans of his heart;receiving the full reward of being With Him.

Why am I telling you this? It is because my husband and I have come to understand that we want Him and we want His will! And what is his will? As 2 Tim. 2:4 tells us, it is His will that all should be saved and come to the knowledge of truth. And what is His command to accomplish His will? Matt 28:19-20 says, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you."

Ed and I are so excited because this next January, we will be going to Orlando, FL to train with Christ for all Nations, who has been responsible for seeing almost 80 million people respond to the Gospel over the last 30 years. We are humbled to be 2 of only 100 people selected for this years training and we are asking that you would partner with us in order to help accomplish the spreading of the Gospel. Many more will be trained in the future, but we see the harvest now, and we must act. The harvest is ripe. Our God is abundantly good. And we must go. We must run after his will with the fullness of our hearts.

Here is how you can support the spreading of the Gospel through us:

-pray for us and encourage us
-give financially to us. The money we are seeking to raise will cover our tuinion ($8,000 will cover both of us), our first missions trip ($7,000 will cover both of us) and extra provision for our move and housing while we study. 
-send cards to my kids because it would bless them to hear from their friends
