Sending Warmth to Mari & Kurt

Our friends Mari and Kurt are facing one of the toughest battles life can throw at a young family. A lot of people have been asking how they can help during this tough time. One thing that seems to make our Finnish warrior feel a bit better is the sauna.

I know she’s dreamed of having one in the backyard — a little haven of warmth and healing. So, let’s come together and make that dream a reality as an early 40th birthday gift for Mari!

Q: Why sauna?

A: If only for a while, the calming ritual of sauna bathing helps Mari melt away the worry, anxiety, tension, and exhaustion brought on by her diagnosis and treatments. The sauna has brought Mari meaningful relief from a recent bout of severe, stress-induced headaches.

Q: What kind of a sauna?

A: Mari has long dreamed of having a simple, traditional Finnish wood-fired sauna - a space of warmth, healing, and connection. The cost for a sauna of this kind is typically around $15K.
