Sending Teresa Davis Home
September 2020 we found out our mom, Teresa Davis was diagnosed with stage 4 colon and liver cancer. Immediately she underwent a surgery to get the infected part of her colon removed, colon cancer is gone. Yay!
October 2020, mama started chemotherapy for the liver cancer. Her hair also started falling out, so she decided to cut it all off #TesaStrong
Over the next few months, mama kept doing intensive chemo but she was fighting so hard and still functioning like normal. In February 2021, mama results came back great. The cancer was almost undetectable. We were so excited. She was taken off the intensive chemo and was put on chemo pills.
June 2021, mama got sick. She was in the hospital for a week, got better, came home for a week then returned to the hospital.
July 30th 2021, things took a turn for mama. Her liver and kidneys had shut down. Our mom put up a great fight but we didn’t want her to suffer anymore. Teresa Davis passed away August 7th, 2021. Unfortunately mama had little to no life insurance so we need assistance giving our mother the proper homegoing. Any donation or share helps greatly.
