Sending Rupinder'Body Back home and for Family Support

Dear Friends and Community Members,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the sudden and tragic passing of my dear friend, Rupinder Hundal, who suffered a fatal heart attack on March 21, 2025, in Calgary, Canada. Rupinder arrived in Canada seven months ago on a spouse visa to join his wife, Navjot Kaur, and their 5-year-old daughter.

Navjot entered Canada in 2023, having married Rupinder in 2019. She recently obtained a visa for their daughter and had returned to India to bring her to Canada. Navjot is scheduled to return on April 11, 2025. During her absence, Rupinder was alone in Calgary. His untimely death has left us all in shock and his family devastated.

Before moving to Canada, Rupinder sold all his possessions in India. His mother has passed away, and his father is paralyzed, residing in their home village of Deo, Tehsil and district Tarn Taran, Punjab, India. Navjot is now the sole breadwinner and responsible for caring for her father-in-law and their young daughter.

Rupinder’s family in India wishes to perform the final rites and cremate him according to their customs and traditions. We are reaching out to our friends, community members, and kind-hearted individuals to help us raise the necessary funds to cover the expenses of embalming and transporting his body back to India, along with any additional legal and logistical fees.

Rupinder was a loving son, a loyal friend, and a cherished member of our community. Your generous contributions will help ensure that he is given a dignified farewell and that his family can say their final goodbyes.
