Sending Rescued Street Cats to Homes Overseas

Donation protected

Hi, my name is Johann and I am fundraising to send rescued cats from Saudi Arabia to the UK, Europe, USA and Canada. We are working with rescues overseas to help send the cats we have rescued from terrible conditions and situations to new homes. In Saudi there is only very few official charities (3 I know off in the whole of the country) that help animals and all are overwhelmed and funded by only donations. The main rescuers are people who rescue independently with friends and use their own money to try to save animals that are in terrible conditions. I was one of these rescuers saving hundreds of cats lives and now I have moved back to the UK I am working with my friends in Riyadh to raise money and send as many cats as we can over seas. Finding good homes in Saudi is very difficult, many of the cats we rescue were house cats that have been abandoned on the streets to fend for themselves in very difficult conditions and they cannot survive. We are raising funds to help these cats by treating them, vaccinating, neutering and finding foster homes until we can raise the money to send to rescues or homes out of Saudi. It is very expensive to do this and for each cat its around 500 car £100 to get them ready, or 1000 sar £200 if they are going to Europe and this does not include food, treatments and then there is the travel cost of around 5,000/7,000 sar or £1000/£1250 per cat. We need your help to do this as we do not have the funds ourselves. We are sending the cats in sets of 5 and I have estimated that each trip will be £1500 per cat and any funds over will be transferred to the next group of cats. Once I get the booking from the courier I will post all invoices for transparency purposes. The first set of cats are ready to go scan you help Crush, Hope, Joy, Smokey and one other to be confirmed to go to a better life?

Crush was found on the streets by a set of traffic lights. A house cat put out that had been in an accident and had shattered his pelvis. He is now healed, albeit wonky as we didn't get him in time to fix it, and he is the sweetest most adorable boy who loves Cuddles.

Hope was found on the street and left in a vet clinic that hadn't treated her. She had a shattered leg and terrible eye infection. When we got her she was totally blind and her leg in a bad way. We treated her eyes and leg and rather than amputation it healed and her eyes have improved. We are not sure if she is totally blind as we are unable to do the correct tests but she is a sweet heart, a bit shy but loves to be stroked and play.

Joy was in the same clinic as Hope and was left there with a bad leg. Her leg healed perfectly and she literally is a bundle of Joy! she loves cuddles and to play with her foster brothers but is deemed not pretty enough to be rehomed in saudi fluffy cats are popular.

Smokey was found on our compound as a kitten and rehired, sadly he was returned as the family "suddenly" became allergic. He is now too big to get rehomed, as again, he is not fluffy enough. He is the most loving boy and is a perfect cat.

Please help us by donating to our cause and being a regular supporter. We cannot do this without your help. These cats stand no chance of a happy life unless we can help them.
