Sending our love to Debbie Montano

We, the faculty and staff of Emerson Community Charter, are working together to fundraise for our beloved coworker, friend, and Plant Manager Ms. Debbie Montano.

After dedicating more than 10 years of service, Debbie’s presence is a key cornerstone of the Emerson community. Those who know Debbie will tell you how much of an exemplary mother, faith-driven person, and steel-tough woman she truly is.

Debbie is often the first person to arrive on campus. In the early mornings, you can find her accompanied by her kind-hearted son Guillermo, a high-school student who has always proved himself helpful and considerate when assisting Emerson staff.

Upon experiencing sudden illness and seeing a doctor, Debbie has been diagnosed with cancer. She’s been hospitalized for more than 3 weeks while receiving chemotherapy and undergone several surgeries. As a single-mother, Debbie’s family is experiencing an extremely stressful time.

We kindly ask for donations of any amount. Feel free to share this fundraiser with your friends and family, on social media, etc. The money raised will go directly towards Debbie’s medical expenses, housing payments, and to her son, Guillermo, who has remained by his mother’s side throughout this entire ordeal.
