Sending my son Cameron away.

Fourth of July morning, in the early hours, I received a call that shattered my world forever. Cameron, my son, at 17 years old, went to a house party. Unfortunately, Cameron was struck by the bullets that went through the party. There were 3 other victims, except my son Cameron was the only one that passed away. This tragedy was also presented to the community on the 6 a.m. morning news in Columbus, Ohio.

Cameron was a great kid. He was smart and caring. He took pride in being a protector. He was a sibling on both sides of his creators. On his dad's side, Cameron was #5 of 9, and on his mom's side, he was #2 of 4. We shared the term "twin" because that's exactly what me and my son are. Cameron gave me hope to rebuild and stay strong with the world when it was against me. My heart hurts deeply. My soul is so heavy dealing with this news. Life without his texts and calls every day to check on me and his family is unbearable. This is a tragic loss for all of us.

We are trying to come together in this time to raise some money to get back to Ohio in order to create my son's funeral and burial. Anything and all helps. Please find it in your hearts to give my family some grace and mercy in this time of need. Thank you.
