Sending Love to the Hines Family

II Corinthians 5: 1-6
" (5) God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit. (6) So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. (7) For we live by believing and not by seeing. (8) Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord."
Although Raquel has left us physically, she has reached greater glory in being present with the Lord; we rejoice for her soul even while our hearts are pained. Raquel was the physical embodiment of God's love, we all aspire to love the way she has loved her family and friends. Anyone blessed enough to have been touched by her compassion and selflessness, truly understands the magnitude of her family's loss and suffering.
Marlon, Nadia (15), Maya (13) and Miles (turning 12 this month), need our help. A true reflection of Proverbs 31, Raquel poured everything she had into her home, children and marriage. She committed herself to upholding the vows she made to Marlon 18 years ago, growing in their love for one another. Her beautiful, intelligent, God-fearing children are a direct reflection of who she was and her faith in Christ. Raquel was intentional in training them up in the word of God, being attentive to their education and immersing them in love.
It is now our turn to show the same love, tenfold, in order to hold up the Hines family. The love we give will provide long-term needs, daily living, memorial costs and all other unforeseen expenses that their family may incur. It's up to us to ensure that we help take care of the Hines family, please donate what you can and spread the word to anyone that Raquel may have impacted.
