Sending Kelsea Abner off with Love (Funeral Fund)

Today, it is with profound sadness that i call on family, friends, colleagues, and community to help me and my family honor the beautiful life of my youngest, and Carlos Abner's only child, Kelsea Chauntal Abner. On Friday, February 26, our beloved Kelsea passed away in her sleep from seizures associated with an unforseen traumatic brain event. Unfortunately, at the youthful age of 27, Kelsea didn't have insurance in place to cover such an unexpected tragedy.

Please join us in banding together for the purpose of covering funeral/burial expenses, and creating a survival fund for her 5 year old son Greyson who she leaves behind, in flesh, never in spirit. Our hope is that as her living legacy, he'll have some additional resources to build on a future, something Kelsea was working diligently on prior to her transition.  If there's nothing else she wanted for, it was to give her only child a solid foundation, and the best quality experience she could provide.  Before our baby girl returned to god, she assured Greyson that she'd always be there with him. Together, I know we can pick up where she left off to honor that promise, as it's my belief that she lives on in those whose world she's impacted.

Words simply cannot express the devastation and shock my family is experiencing right now. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing "Chaun" understands the irreplaceable light we're now mourning the loss of. Kelsea  was a beautiful, bold, ambitious young woman with a tender heart and a bright future, stolen far sooner than any of us could have prepared for.
