Sending Ilir Haxhiu to Albania for his Funeral

Hello everyone,

I am fundraising for the transportation of the body of our loved one, Ilir Haxhiu to Albania, who passed away unexpectedly and too soon at age 62. He got infected with covid19 which affected and damaged his liver and kidneys, taking his life within 3 days which left us with an an incurable wound. Sending the body home to Albania is costly but it's the right thing to do for him who was born, raised, and remembered in the field of soccer, contributing not only to his hometown, Lushnje, but also in Tirane with the legendary team of Tirana at that time, Partizani. The love and great longing that Ilir had for his country was endless. This is the last thing that I and my two children can do for a husband, parent, and a wonderful man like ILIRI.

The amount required by the relevant authorities to transport the body is $18,000.

Dashuria dhe malli i madh qe kishte Iliri per vendin e tij ishte e pafundme. Kjo esht gjeja e fundit qe une dhe dy femijet mund te bejme per nje bashkeshort, prind, dhe nje njeri te mrekullushem si ILIRI.
