Sending Care for Corey

This request is for our colleague and friend Dr. Corey Holmes. Early this week, Corey and his family were the victims of an electrical fire that destroyed their home, most of the items of value within it, and their two automobiles. By the grace of God, Corey, his wife, and their 2-year-old son were able to escape. Thankfully, the Holmes family are insured and they are currently managing the obligatory process of itemizing what was lost and discussing what can and will be replaced, but a tragedy such as this, does not only destroy items of monetary value. The trauma and mental disruption are not limited to events which involved the loss or injury to a family member. The Holmes Family is displaced, surviving with the clothes on their backs and trying to live with the thought that they barely escaped a tragedy that could have been 100 times worse.

Hence, GEC colleagues, this Go Fund Me account provides a way for you to give, help and console the Holmes Family in this time of need. Generosity is a trait that is much needed today, this provides an opportunity for you to show yours for a friend and colleague, whom we all know would do the same if the roles were reversed.
