Tribute to Brittany Lane

I am completely torn up to have to write this. My sister-in-law, Brittany Lane, passed away suddenly on April 14th. In-law does not even begin to describe what you are to me. You are my big sister, my brothers high school sweetheart, a thoughtful daughter, dependable cousin, loyal friend and an outstanding mother to my nieces and nephews. We are all in shock. Brittany means so much to so many people! I know this is truly heartbreaking for anyone who came to know her. She was the person who ALWAYS knew what to say or just to embrace you because her hugs were like magic. She made you feel like things would get better. She is literally the most nurturing person you could ever meet. Also she so funny and spontaneous.Never afraid to do a silly dance or say something “embarrassing.” I don’t think she could be embarrassed because that’s how free she was. Brittany was a fiercely proud parent to Jayden, Nalani, Chai, and Kendall. She showered them with love and affection often.To Jerett, Brittany was a wonderful partner.  She is the best friend who won’t sugar coat anything but also be your shoulder to cry on. I could go on about how you’ve always fought for your kids to have a good education or how much love you and Jerett shared with each other. You two were always together because you loved it that way.  You never hesitated to show affection to everyone you loved which made those around feel special. I know it did for me. Brittany you have left a big hole in our hearts because they were so full before. I hope I was able to capture a fragment of what being loved by you felt like.

With this being so sudden we could use any financial donation you are willing to spare as well as your prayers for her family. This has hit us all extremely hard. Any money raised will go to any final costs and then to help support their four children. Meaning this will help them with house payments/other bills, the children’s clothes and future school. I really only want them to worry about healing together.

Please share this link. It has been tough to tell everyone individually as you can imagine. We want everyone to be informed and to be able to raise as much for her family as possible. Her loss is a tremendously tragic one. I really don’t want Jerett and the kids to worry about anything but healing so please share this.
