Sending Blair Spinner Home

In December of 2020, my Dad, Blair Spinner, was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Sadly, when he was given this diagnosis, he was already at stage four and the disease was progressing at an extreme rate. In May of 2021, cancer had metastasized to his bowels and emergency surgery was performed to save his life. He was given a colostomy bag as the disease had ravished his lower intestines.

During the operation, my Dad’s vitals were touch and go and I was informed that he wouldn’t make it off the operating table alive. But God had other plans and my prayers were answered. My Dad was blessed to remain with me for a little while longer. Regrettably, my Dad lost his fight against cancer on July 6th, 2022.

In recalling his life’s journey with me, he spent his last year going to multiple doctor appointments and being treated to maintain his health from deteriorating, which exhausted his savings and my savings as well. It appears my Dad had to choose between paying for his medical costs or continuing to make payments on his life insurance and unbeknownst to me, it was canceled. Now I am struggling financially to lay my Dad to rest.

Although family members are helping me, there are limited funds available for burial expenses. I am asking for any amount that you can contribute to help me with laying my Dad, Blair Spinner, to rest.
