Hi, as many will remember from last year, we raised some money for a young carer who sadly lost her mum suddenly and is now navigating life and young adulthood alone.

Since losing her dear mum, she has smashed college, her placement hours, passing all assignments, passed her driving theory test, in which is another step closer to becoming a paramedic, and has been navigating moving home and managing bills and all that comes with doing life alone. And all that after now caring for her terminal dad. For such a young girl in these times, she has done amazing, all whilst dealing with grief and her first Mother’s Day without her best friend.

She has since been invited back to attend her school Prom but is unable to fund such an expensive night. She initially decided not to attend.

We would like to raise some money, to take her dress shopping and make her feel as special as she truly is. To fund her prom ticket, hair and make up and allow her one last night without the heaviness of adulthood and real life.
