Hi! My name is Heather and I'm a student at Keene State College in Keene, NH. I'm currently a sophomore, but my plan is to graduate a semester early to start working as soon as possible on what I'm most passionate about: theatre!
This year, I've been accepted at the prestigious American Theatre Wing's summer program, SpringboardNYC! This is an unbelievable opportunity. The program is highly selective and I'm incredibly honored to have been accepted. It entails two weeks of intensive master classes, workshops, and trips, all surrounding my chosen field of theatre.
As a theatre artist, I believe in two things above all: accessible education and mental health. I think including theatre in educational curriculums can contribute to both in unprecedented ways. I hope to go to graduate school so that one day I can teach theatre professionally. In order to do that, I need as much acting and theatre training as I can get. That's where you come in!
The total cost for SpringboardNYC comes to $3000. Since I'm a current college student, I don't have an extra $3000 around. So, however much money I can raise will be a tremendous help. I will be eternally grateful to those who donate even one dollar! Thank you so much for considering helping me!
