UPDATE July 19, 2018: All money being raised from this point forward will go directly to the cost of excess luggage. Through my research, the cheapest way for me to get the items being donated to the orphanage is by paying for extra bags on my flight. I can pack a 50 lb bag for $160. ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
I have the amazing opportunity to volunteer at the Riziki Children's Home in Kenya this August. I am incredibly grateful that the owners have opened up the home to me and are providing a room for me to stay while I volunteer.
I am raising $2,500 for my flight, ground transportation and cost of meals (paid to Riziki for my stay).
Anything I raise above $2,500, will go directly to donations of items or money to Riziki.
