Bodhi's Class Alaska Adventure

Hi! My name is Bodhi Keith. I am 13 years old, and I am part of a group of students lucky enough to be in this little class called Excursions. Excursions is a special class where our end goal is to travel to Alaska. We must raise our own money and plan our own activities. We must do everything ourselves, down to the meal we eat each night. Another tough part is that we have to agree amongst ourselves. As far as the money raising part goes, there's only one rule, no help from any parents. We must fund the trip (including teachers) alone. I like the group I'm traveling with. We are all hardworking and have individual skills that can help the experience. My classmates have me looking forward to the trip, but that's not the main reason I am so excited to get out to the wild. I am really excited to see raw nature. Growing up in LA, I can't really go anywhere without seeing another human. But up in Alaska, other than my friends I will be with myself and really get to soak up the once in a lifetime chance to see the uncut beauty. So I ask you, my fellow adventurers, to donate and help me, no... Help us become better humans by experiencing all things, and then proceeding to make the world a better place!
