Help A theatre artist cross a pond

The Short Story: It's been a dream of mine for several years to live in London and the moment is finally coming to fruition. I'm asking friends, loved ones and kind strangers to help make this happen for me.

The Long Story: When I was about twelve years old my father all but dragged me into volunteering as a technician for the local Children's Theatre. At the time I was depressed, I was angry, and my only interests were in video games. Working backstage opened a door for me that I truly believe saved my life. Fast forward ten years, I'm making a career as a theatre technician in Los Angeles, surrounded by artists that inspire me every day, and while I've grown to love it here, Los Angeles is not the end of the road for me.
London has always called to me, the theatre, the culture, easy access to the rest of europe, I always figured I would end up there at some point. Eight Months ago I met someone who understands and cares for me in a way i'd never dreamed, and as it turns out our dreams were aligned. So we're setting off together on an adventure that I can only describe as fateful, and while leaving my friends and the theaters I've been working in for the last two years will be difficult, I believe it is time for me to make my way to a place where theatre is king, and the Queen is queen. There I hope to broaden my horizons, explore new mediums, and continue pursuing my dreams as exhaustively as I can.
Unfortunately, all the gumption and creativity in the world won't buy one a plane ticket and necessities, and so I turn to you, friends, family, and strangers alike who are willing to put their faith and love in monetary value. A donation in any amount will buy you the feeling of knowing you've helped an artist pursue his dream, and when I inevitably become a famous director of theatre, you can smile with pride and announce to anyone who will listen that "That dude wouldn't be anywhere if it weren't for my three dollars and fifty cents" (And seriously even that much would be hugely appreciated.)
The rewards listed are meager tokens of my appreciation, but they will all be bathed in a thick vat of gratitude. That you've even read this far is a gift all it's own, thank you for taking the time, and thank you in advanced for any donations.

Truly Yours,
