Let’s send Anna to Congress!

Dear friends,

Sometimes unexpected opportunities arise.

Our Anna whom you’ve known for many years has been granted a congressional internship with long time Republican Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rogers. She is scheduled to start in on May 29th and will be stationed in the Rayburn Building where Congress meets.

This means she will be living and working in Washington D.C. I don’t have to tell you what an amazing opportunity this is for her future. She intends to follow in her family’s footsteps and study law.

It is a paid internship but as with most, not enough to provide for her housing and board for several months. It’s one of the most expensive places in the world to live. It will cost thousands a month to provide for her basic needs. It’s like setting up another home in D.C.

As such we do need to raise some funds to make this happen. It’s short notice but I think if it weren’t God’s leading this would not have come to our door. He is an awesome God.
