I'm very proud and excited to announce that my son, Alexander, has been selected to participate in Lansing Community College's Japanese Education Internship.

Alex will be traveling to Otsu, Japan in May and will be teaching English there for two and a half months. This is a very amazing opportunity for him and it will further his education and refine his teaching skills for the future.

We are trying to raise money for his airfare and living expenses such as rent and food. While we are able to cover some of the expenses ourselves, we would greatly appreciate any help you can give.

I'm very proud of Alex. He has overcome many obstacles, such as his battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I'm so happy that he is healthy enough to participate in a wonderful program such as this
