Help Zack get to Texas for Cancer Trials

- Hi my name is Nikki and I'm raising money to send a beloved friend, 28 year old Zack Jones, to do clinical trials in Texas as a hail mary to try to beat Multiple Myeloma(2 types of Luekemia). It all started when Zack decided to get the first dose of the Moderna vaccine in May 2021. Within weeks of receiving the vaccine Zack started developing symptoms of Myocarditis which was a known but "rare" side effect of the vaccine. Myocarditis is an inflammation of the middle layer of the heart wall usually caused by a viral infection or in Zacks case a vaccine. Zack has suffered mini heart attacks and is in stage 3 congestive heart failure. He was on the list for a heart transplant but Zack developed luekemia from the Myocarditis in the early spring of 2022. At first it was ALL which has a higher rate of remission and at one point we thought he had beat it with the chemo, but shortly after hearing the good news that Zack was in remission and on the road to getting the heart transplant we recieved even worse news, not only did the ALL come back but he developed another more aggressive form of luekemia called AML which is a rare phenomenon to have 2 types of luekemia called Multiple Myeloma. Doctors immediately got him back on stronger chemo but October 31st 2023 we got news that it spread to the spinal fluid and needed more aggressive rounds of both chemo and radiation. Zack has barely been able to work since February 2022 and has been living with me since his grandma passed Thanksgiving of 2021 and somehow doesnt qualify for ssi, disability, or medicare. 4 weeks ago Zack underwent a last resort treatment called CAR T-CELL therapy where they essentially drew a large amount of blood sent it to a lab where they gentically modified it and then transfused it back into his bloodstream. Unfortunately this has a lower success rate due to a high percent of patients developing neurotoxicity which Zack developed. The doctors gave him heavy steroids to fight it and he is still undergoing his normal chemo but his white cells are still super high and red cells really low proving that this last resort treatment hasnt been effective. The only thing left for Zack to try before being labeled terminal are clinical trials at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas. Plane tickets, a months stay, car rentals, food, & essentials along with the actual trial is too expensive for Zack or I to afford so I'm asking for your help in raising money to send Zack to these clinical trials.
