Send Xeno to Cinema Makeup School

I have been reading horror stories since childhood. My earliest memory with creatures and monsters had to be my family’s copy of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. I would take the book, look at the scary vampire illustration on the cover and see the beauty in the monster looking back at me. The majority of people surrounding me thought that I'm a freak because instead of drawing flowers, the sun and stars like most kids my age, I drew monsters. I didn't give up as I had the support of my family where everybody read Stephen King novels and watched horror movies.

Unfortunately, Armenia really did not have the gore and horror I grew up with in the mainstream culture.
It wasn’t until 2 years ago, when I began doing research on schools in the United States, did I get into special effects makeup. I discovered Cinema Make- Up School online and saw photos of all the work the students did and something clicked in my head. I could combine my love of horror and gore with my artistic skills and create real life monsters. I could create the monsters I had been in love with since I was a child and all the monsters I conjured up in my head to life. 

At the moment I work on my creatures and art, in the meantime take over some projects which allow me to take care of my needs.
As we all know the movie industry, creature design and makeup are not that developed in Armenia, so that I could afford to study abroad and develop my skills. I know I could not afford a trip to Los Angeles or even tuition for that matter. That is why I am thrilled to start this fundraiser. I know that without this fundraising I will not be able to make my dreams a reality. I have raw natural talent but I know I also need classes to perfect my skills and style as a make-up artist.
