Hi everyone! My name is Melissa, and I am the organizer of this campaign. My husband and I are stepping forward as the official chaperone team for this incredible journey, and most proudly, we are Lacey’s parents. As a dual-military veteran household, this specific trip holds a profoundly deep meaning for our family.

Small town, big dreams! Only the top 12% of cheerleaders across the entire nation earn the elite title of NCA All-Americans and NCA All-American Nominees. Now, three of Wisconsin’s own—Lacey J., Kennedy B., and Sophia D.—need our help to step onto a grand national stage. From America’s Dairyland to Pearl Harbor, we are launching this fundraiser to send these dedicated student-athletes on the trip of a lifetime to honor our nation’s veterans this December!

Behind the bright smiles and high energy of cheerleading lies immense sacrifice. This past August 3 and 4, while most teenagers were enjoying their summer break, these three local athletes were pouring their sweat, tears, and determination into NCA cheer camp. Their relentless hard work paid off in a historic way, proving that world-class talent can come from our tight-knit Wisconsin community.

Because of this elite achievement, these girls have been trusted with a profound responsibility. This December, they will travel to Hawaii to march and perform in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade. They will be representing the pride of Wisconsin, but more importantly, they will be standing face-to-face with our country's heroes.

As veterans, my husband and I know firsthand the weight of the sacrifices our service members make. Seeing our daughter and her teammates earn the privilege to physically stand before Pearl Harbor survivors to say "Thank You" is deeply moving. This trip is not a sunny beach vacation; it is a mission of gratitude, leadership, and patriotism led by a team that understands the true value of service.

As a community, we want to show these young women that when you work hard and reach the top, your hometown stands right behind you. We need to raise funds to cover travel expenses for these 3 athletes and their 2 veteran chaperones.

Every donation, no matter the size, bridges the gap between these girls and a lifelong lesson in patriotism, leadership, and gratitude.

Let’s send our Wisconsin girls to Hawaii to say "Thank You" to our veterans on behalf of all of us! Thank you!!!
