Dear Friends and Supporters,
Imagine a group of 5th–8th grade students, designing, building, and coding robots that solve real-world problems — and now, they’re heading to Orlando, Florida, to
compete at the national level!
Valley View Adventist Academy (VVAA) has been a cornerstone of the Arroyo Grande
community for over 100 years, providing a nurturing and diverse environment where kids thrive academically and socially. This year, our LEGO Robotics team, T-Wave Tronics, has achieved something extraordinary:
*** 2nd place overall in the regional competition
*** 1st place in Robot Design
*** Highest Robot Performance score
Because of their dedication, creativity, and teamwork, they have qualified for the
national championship! On May 3, 2026, these talented students will represent our
school and community on the national stage.
We want to make sure every student can attend this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and that’s where you come in. Travel, lodging, and competition costs are significant,
and we are seeking your support to help cover these expenses. Every dollar brings these students closer to their dream, gives them an unforgettable learning experience, and inspires the next generation of innovators and engineers.
Please join us in supporting these young engineers and making their dreams of
competing nationally a reality. Donations can be made via GoFundMe, checks, Venmo (@Bonna-Shreve) or cash.
On behalf of the VVAA LEGO Robotics Team and coaches, thank you for your generosity, encouragement, and belief in our students’ potential. Together, we can send T-Wave Tronics to Orlando!
With gratitude,
Valley View Adventist Academy
