Help the Veazie Vikings Robotics Team Get to the FIRST® Championship in Houston!
The Veazie Vikings Robotics Team has done something truly special—they are STATE CHAMPIONS!
With this incredible achievement, they’ve earned the honor of representing Maine at the FIRST Championship in Houston, Texas.
This world-class event brings together the top student robotics teams from across the globe to celebrate STEM, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. For our middle school students, this opportunity is more than a competition—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime educational experience.
Why We Need Your Help
Traveling to Houston with a middle school team comes with significant costs, including:
• Airfare and transportation
• Lodging
• Meals
• Competition registration fees
As a public school robotics team, the Veazie Vikings rely heavily on community support to make opportunities like this possible. Every donation—big or small—helps move our students one step closer to competing on this world stage!
Why This Matters
Our students have dedicated countless hours to designing, building, testing, programming, and problem-solving. Along the way, they’ve developed:
• Collaboration and leadership skills
• Confidence and resilience
• A passion for science, technology, engineering, and math
By supporting this trip, you’re investing not just in a robotics competition—but in future engineers, innovators, and leaders.
How You Can Help
• Donate if you’re able
• Share this campaign with friends, family, and colleagues
• Cheer on the Veazie Vikings as they represent our school, our town, and our state
