Send Van to the Hawai'i Tiki Bowl Championship

This fundraising is for my son, Van. Van has been invited to compete in the Hawai'i Tiki Bowl taking place in Honolulu, Hawai'i, December 17-22, 2025. Van has been passionate about the game of tackle football since he was 10 years old. Van started with the Sahuarita, Green Valley 49ers and quickly fell in love with the game as soon as they started tackling drills. When COVID hit, we made the move to competing with the Tucson Jaguars as a true 13U team. The Tucson Jaguars went on to win the City Championship, advanced past 14U Regionals, and took Runner-Up at the 14U National Championship.

Participating in this bowl game would give Van additional exposure to college recruiters and coaches looking to complete their rosters for the upcoming season. Additionally, the experience would give Van the opportunity to network with other players, as well as coaches, from around the country-opening doors for relationships that he can carry forward with him to college. As the NCAA continues to change, the transfer portal making it harder for high school aged kids to make their way, we have a year to hopefully achieve a college football offer, this trip would help tremendously.

This fundraiser will help us to pay the $3,295 fee that will cover the flight, hotel, and uniform but does not include baggage fees for the flights nor food for the duration of the trip. Van's looking forward to representing his high school and our community while he learns more about our heritage and competes playing the game he loves.
