Send USA team to the NZ Fishing World Cup!

Hello all! This is the SR1 Ocean Tribe

First thing --> WSFF (World Sports Fishing Federation, Seoul) is bringing back the Fishing World Cup!!

The Fishing World Cup 2024 will be happening in NEW ZEALAND in March 2024.

And USA was invited to send a team of 8 participate in this international fishing tournament.

From our region, we are sending 3 of our youths, who needs your financial support to get to New Zealand (and hopefully win the cup!). Let us support these youths and send them as US representatives to compete on our behalf! True Parents will be super happy to see these youths competing in the tradition that they have established

ANY AMOUNT WILL BE DEEPLY APPRECIATED, AND PLEASE SHARE THIS GOFUNDME TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE Of course, if you want to straight up sponsor one of them ($1200 - more info below), you are completely and totally welcome :-)

A word about fishing tournaments:

Fishing tournaments were one of the methods True Parents have always implemented in order to:

(1) Bring people of all ages, all nationalities, all races, and even various economic backgrounds together in a peaceful spirit of competition and unity

(2) Raise people for the Ocean Era and bring awareness to the Ocean Providence as a method to feed the starving people of the world and to bring peace to the world

(3) Build an economic foundation and social support

Funds Breakdown:

The estimated airplane ticket price to get to New Zealand is somewhere between $1200 - $1800. We will try to find the most economical option, but the more we can support them, the better.

$1200 x 3 = $3600 (3 youths transportation)

In addition, Tyrone Clarke is planning to go straight to Korea after the tournament, and will visit Yeosu (a major Ocean Providence location in Korea that was set up by our True Parents) as an Ocean Tribe representative.

$1200 (Tyrone's transportation + expenses in Korea)

OUR IDEAL TARGET TO RAISE IS: $4800.
