Send Trinity to LA for an Unforgettable Orchestra Experience

Hi my name is Trinity Thomas and I am starting this account because I am trying to raise money for a trip for school. I have been in orchestra programs at my schools since 5th grade. I play the viola and I am currently a sophomore in high school. My class is getting the chance to go to Las Angeles for a school trip. It will be a four day trip and during those days we will be doing many things to benefit our orchestra program, but also things for our own fun and experience while we are there. We will be taking a plane down there on the 22nd of May and will be flying back the morning of the 26th. While we are there we will be going to DisneyLand and getting the chance to go to one of their programs and get to site read (play the music without knowing what any of it is and having no previous practice) a piece of music and watch it get put into a scene of a movie. Many movies and TV shows you watch have professional orchestras getting the music, site reading it, and music getting put into scenes of movies. They wont be messing with the music we will be playing, it will be authentic and not modified in ways to sound better. It will give our program the chance to hear our music in a scene of a movie. Also while we are there we will be getting to go to one of the universities and do a clinic for our class. Clinics in orchestra aren’t like a health check up, they cost a lot of money and we get professional help from professors at the university to help improve our playing as a whole. For this trip the money I need to raise will be covering our hotel cost, plane ride, the clinics, meals we will be having while we are there, and also our day passes at DisneyLand. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to get to go. This is the only trip that will be happening in my four years in high school and I would really enjoy playing in those clinics and activities. The only way I will be able to go on this trip will be if I am able to fundraise the money by March 1st. I need $3,000.00 to go on this trip. I am hoping that me making this account will hopefully help me raise the money I need for the trip, I am hoping you guys will be willing to help me out with this!
