Send to Yale or Berkeley for Summer

Hello my name is Katherine Love,Laniyah Hill is my oldest granddaughter.I have had her since she was a baby but she was taken with her bio mom for 3rd grade.That changed so much for her;like her self esteem her positive attitude of believing in her self. I made her a promise when she was in 4th grade that she would never have to be in anymore difficult situation’s,so I got legal custody and I have so far been able to keep my promise.For the things that she has been through her focus on education has been her go to.Laniyah Is a sophomore in high school and she is a very special honest hard working young lady. Because I became disabled in 2015 legally I have not been able to work a job.With my financial situation currently I alone am not able to take her on this trip with out help.This is a great opportunity for her so I had to swallow my pride and reach out for help.And for her I would do anything.So I want to be able to travel with her and remain for 7nights and 8 days while she has her first college experience.She’s very very shy and isn’t comfortable going alone and I told her I would try to find away to make it happen.

Laniyah Hill sixteen years old a honor roll student who to date holds a 4.40 gpa.A sophomore next year she will attend our local college here in Illinois to start her dual education while attending her 11th grade year.
