I am one of the many proud parents of our Thomaston - Upson County, Recreation department All-Star Baseball team for age 12U.

These coaches and boys have put in so much hard work and dedication and have won out at Regionals and will be traveling to Donalsonville, Georgia July 14-17th for the State Championship.

Thus far, our boys have received only the recognition of proud parents and friends.

The team has received zero funding for All star uniforms to include zero funding to pay for coaches to take off of work to travel with these boys much less funds for food, gas, hotels rooms and the cost of missing work. We have three coaches.

Additionally, there has been no funds for All star uniforms.

I am making this GoFundMe page on behalf of the mom's and the team in an effort to send the boys to state with community pride and support.

We understand times are tough right now for a lot of people and appreciate any donation no matter how big or small.

All funds received will be used to cover coach expenses and team recognition with hopefully a new hat for each player. Any remaining funding will be donated to the Thomaston-Upson civic center should the boys not advance to Nationals.

Should the team advance to Nationals, additional funding may be needed also.
