South Alumni & Supporters Fund - OFSAA Football

South Collegiate Institute's senior football team are city champions and have earned the chance to make the trip to Windsor to play in OFSAA. However, rising costs and tighter school sport budgets mean these 48 student athletes need to ask their community for help.
If you're on the fence about giving or how much to give, please consider that:
- Every year, multiple South graduates find a new home at a University - OFSAA games are important opportunities for players to show why they deserve a scholarship;
- High school sports often represent the most organized form of sport many individuals participate in. If you or a loved one played sports at South, you know what this means to these players;
- Because of rising costs, registration fees could not cover week-to-week expenses all year. Coaching staff have quietly picked up the tab to ensure students continue to have access to the support they need;
- Finally, if you or someone close to you played football at South, consider those memories and opportunities when giving back to this program.
If the goal for this fundraiser is exceeded, surplus funds will be used to replace aging equipment and to help offset the costs for future players who may not have the means to cover registration costs. All funds raised will be donated to the Thames Valley Education Fund in support of South Football. Fundraising closes on Friday, November 24.
