Support for End of Life Care for Brent and Shaw Family

Brent is coming home from Chicago on Hospice care. Unfortunately the chemo is no longer working and we are looking for donations to support the family in this time including but not limited to funeral services and any funds remaining will be secured for Rhenda and Brooklyn Shaw.

Hello everyone! My name is Jami and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my very near and dear friends. Brent, Rhenda and Brooklynn Shaw.

Recently Brent was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer with Mets to the brain G12V and we have received some devastating news that the cancer has spread and he will need major surgery to hopefully remove it. Even after months and months of chemo, and treatments, and long distance travel to the best doctors, we are in unfortunate circumstances and really need your help!

With Brent having Stage 4 Colorectal cancer with Mets to the brain, Rhenda has been relentlessly caring for and supporting Brooklynn and Brent. There were issues with a previous employer not completing her STD paperwork and she has since stepped away to work from home. Even though all of this, Rhenda has also been fighting her battle with Thyroid cancer. Most recently they removed a tumor that was wrapped around her vocal cords and the surgery has left her with minimal use of her voice.

This gofundme has been created to alleviate financial stress due to insurance, treatments and of course daily needs like food, fuel, medications etc.

In addition- Brent’s wishes are to go to Disney World and Pretty Place and I would be overjoyed to gift them with either of these experiences! Your donation of even $5-$10 can greatly impact our goal and help send this beautiful family on a restful vacation, that is stress free and full of loving memories!
