The entire 4th grade (3 classes) at Ruth Acty Elementary, a public school in Berkeley, CA, will be attending Camp Arroyo, an incredible outdoor school, this May 10-12, 2023. This will be a 2-night, 3-day learning experience.

We need your support! The 4th grade is hoping to raise money to reduce the cost of this program. It’s expensive, but anything you can contribute will help the kids. Our 4th-grade community goal is to raise $10,000, which will reduce our tuition by half.

Located in the rolling hills of Livermore, Camp Arroyo is a science-based outdoor school designed to foster critical thinking about the environment and help me and my friends develop creative solutions to issues that we will encounter throughout our lifetime. Through a series of fun, hands-on activities we will increase our understanding of and respect for the environment and each other. Camp Arroyo not only helps produce the next generation of environmental stewards, but also fosters community leaders.
