Hello lovely people!

We are the Rumspringas Improv Troupe of Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Since the Rumspringas were founded, we have stayed on campus and cycled through very similar Improv styles and games. Just last semester we debuted off campus and performed at the Lancaster Improv Players and received a taste of something different. We are seeking to enhance our improv skills and do a deep dive into Improv acting. While we have accomplished many laughs at F&M, we see a future filled with even greater humor and fun times!

A few weeks ago we came across an incredible opportunity to be invited to NYC and attend a workshop from Kelly Agathos, a professional Improv Trainer. One of our members met Kelly at a conference at Harvard University, and since then we have been in contact on logistics and details on participating in this workshop.

This opportunity would allow us to attain a deeper level of the improvisational process. Kelly could help heighten our perceptiveness, stamina, and attention to detail. Working with her could help us explore different types of scene work, turbocharge specificity, dedication, and improv innovation. After this workshop, we would bring back a whole new ideology of improv and share our knowledge with the community, specifically the Theater and Dance Department.

This workshop would take place on April 6th, and we would travel to New York City on April 5th and return on April 7th.
