Send the Radical Y’s 2.5 Team to Nationals

Hi!

The Granite YMCA “Radical Y’s 2.5 “ Team is going to Nationals in Oklahoma!

The team played in the New England Sectionals recently in Western Mass after advancing through District competition in Maine. The team is undefeated in post season competition beating the top teams from New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island!

They move on in later September to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to play in the USTA National Championships competing against teams from each region on the country including the Caribbean and Hawaii!

So far they have paid for entrance fees, hotels, and meals, plus travel expenses, to Maine and Western Ma. Let’s help them out with travel expenses to Oklahoma.

Players on the team include Captain’s Taylor Radke and Nikki Gauthier. Michele Plasz, Sonya van der Meer, Maggie Tipping, Grace Wise, Gail Nickerson, Meredith Lucente, Patricia Yankowskas and Marge Pagliuca. The team is coached by David Brown.
